Free Domain Names

Looking for a free domain name? They do actually exist but it's not going to be a .com or a .net. You can get a free domain under the following:

.tk
.cf
.ga
.gq
.ml

They can all be registered for free at http://www.freenom.com/

This is great for having an easy quick domain for easy memory but also be advised - if you want high rankings in Google go with a paid domain. Since these are free, a lot of sites register them and abuse them with use for spam, and so Google doesn't trust these domain names as well as it does the normal ones.

I liked to use them as a way to create a short URL. I use one for my spoonflower account, and it simply masks the real address.
